BlackJack is a card game played against the dealer. The object of the game is to beat the dealers hand. You must pit your wits against the dealer and try to beat his hand without going over 21.
The dealer must draw cards up to and on 12 and stay on 17. You can stay on any total you want or draw cards until 21 or as near as possible without going ‘bust’.
All the bets must be placed on the box in front of you before any cards are dealt. Two cards are given to each player and one to the dealer.
You may surrender half your bet if you do not wish to. You may surrender half your bet if you do not wish to dealer has an Ace, insurance bet will be offered. This is a separate bet which is paid out 2 to 1 if the dealer gets a BlackJack. You may only insure up to half the original bet.
If your first two cards total 9/10/11 you may double the bet but then you will only receive one more card. Cards of the same value can be split more than once. The original bet must be matched then the cards are separated and another card given to each, making a new hand.
